The MEDNET NHIN Gateway, NHIN Connectivity and HIE Solutions

The MEDNET NHIN Gateway™ is a managed service HIE infrastructure offering, a core component in building HIEs and connecting to NHIN, the Nationwide Health Information Network. The MEDNET NHIN Gateway empowers HIEs with intra/inter-HIE clinical data exchange, and is IHE certified.

The MEDNET NHIN Gateway includes interfaces such as intra/inter-community patient discovery, clinical document query/retrieval, HL7 event messaging (HL7 EMR interface engine support), audit log query, and consumer-oriented preference management.  Sold and supported as a managed service (and available for download), The MEDNET NHIN Gateway can be installed and in production in a matter of hours at remote customer locations. 

The MEDNET NHIN Gateway is tested and compliant with NHIN standards, and is fully compatible with the Federal NHIN CONNECT SDK, Federal NHIN CONNECT Gateway, as well as other NHIN gateways / NHIN interfaces.  The MEDNET NHIN Gateway is also IHE compliant and supports the Kantara Initiative's digital identity services.
